(Camden, NJ) - On Tuesday, the Board of Commissioners, along with Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen and various community partners, launched the 2024 Camden Strong-Clean Camden Campaign. The initiative, now in its fourth year, will involve a series of community cleanups across the city, starting in the Cramer Hill neighborhood.

"This initiative shows that we care about this community and are investing time and resources into improving it," Commissioner Al Dyer expressed. "We look forward to this campaign every year because we get to come together with our partners to clean up the neighborhoods of Camden and work together to give them a brighter future," Commissioner Dyer reiterated.

As part of the cleanup efforts, the city's Department of Public Works will be present at the cleanup sites to collect debris, including large bulk trash items. Additionally, the Manufacturers Recycling Management Company (MRM) will offer free electronic recycling collection services. Residents of Camden will also have access to information on recycling, e-waste disposal, trash management, and litter prevention, along with details about other city programs throughout the cleanup season.
