Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco and Morris County Sheriff James Gannon recently visited the Picatinny Arsenal’s Joint Program Executive Office (Armaments & Ammunition) in Morris County to engage with military leaders and personnel.

Sheriff Gannon also expressed his admiration for the Arsenal, stating, “Picatinny Arsenal is responsible for providing defensive and shielding products and services that are paramount to our nation’s defense and state of readiness. Their equipment and operations are paramount to the security of all branches of the United States military. Their leadership efforts towards research and development are unparalleled and it was once again my honor to collaborate with their leaders. We share a mission of a professional and adept response, safety, and security in our daily remit, and we serve the same citizenry with the ultimate goal of protecting our families, friends, and neighbors."

Senator Bucco and Sheriff Gannon have been meeting annually with the Fellows at the Defense Acquisition University Senior Service College to interact with the next generation of leaders at the Arsenal. Their discussions focus on leadership at all levels of government, offering words of wisdom and sharing insights on the joint program's commitment to providing superior armaments and ammunition to the country's warfighters.
